Principal Advisor, Feick Ventures

Author of On Trust and AI

Trust in complex systems must be deliberately designed.

Alexander Feick

Feick Ventures is Alexander's company for AI and cybersecurity work where a decision is on the line. He finds out what is true before a deal, a funding decision, or a launch, then stays on to help the team execute until it is ready to take over.

  • Technical and AI diligence

Whether a company's technology, security, and AI plans hold up before a deal.

  • AI value creation

The strengths that will last as AI changes the market, an evidence baseline, and a model a board can fund against.

  • Building the AI control layer

Technology, people, and role redesign fitted to the business model, run by Alexander or advised.

About the company

Alexander has spent fourteen years building and operating large-scale enterprise systems where decisions carry operational, regulatory, and reputational risk. The work runs from frontline operations to executive strategy: the processes, structures, and decision frameworks that let technology and people function together at scale.

He has shaped operational processes, service architectures, and automation so organizations could grow and still see what they were doing. Strategy, system design, and hands-on execution sit in the same engagement. He works with product, engineering, and operational leaders to turn intent into services that hold under real constraints.

He treats AI as infrastructure. Intelligent systems have to stay observable, governable, and aligned with human judgment as the organization gets more complex.

Before founding Feick Ventures, he was VP of Labs at eSentire, where he built eSentire Labs, the company's exploratory research, special projects, and innovation hub, and released the open-source LLM Gateway.

He is the author of On Trust and AI: A Blueprint for Confidence in the Intelligent Enterprise. The book is a field guide for executives embedding AI into core operations, where failure modes are subtle and the consequences are real.

The work is for executives and leadership teams bringing advanced technology into a real organization, especially at moments of scale, transition, or rising operational risk.
